ASVA Student Practitioners
The following ASVA members are currently completing
their acupuncture studies at the Tai Sophia Institute’s Faculty
Supervised Clinics in Wheaton, Columbia, and Baltimore, Maryland.
Before being admitted into practice at the Faculty Supervised
Clinics, students must demonstrate a mastery of technical skills as
well as the practical skills of caring for patients. The
clinics are supervised by licensed acupuncturists who are affiliated
with the Institute. In the clinics, patients receive an optimum level
of care by the student practitioner, a student partner, and a
supervising licensed acupuncturist. A holistic approach is
used in each treatment, taking into account each patient’s
individual presentation and needs.
